New Hope Academy held its annual fall picnic on Friday, October 5th at Core Creek Park. Students and staff from the Yardley and Doylestown campuses gathered together to officially kick off the school year. The picnics are a prime opportunity for everyone to get better acquainted, as well as a chance to welcome new teachers and students to NHA. The menu included hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken, all of which were cooked to perfection. Also served were plenty of salads, side dishes, and desserts, which are always a favorite amongst the attendees. Students and staff passed the time playing football, soccer, and basketball. Others simply hung out and played board games, made bracelets, or jammed out on various musical instruments. DJ Chris Cinalli provided the music, which brought many out to the dance floor. Adding to the fun was a raffle held by the theater department that benefits the upcoming fall drama, “Noise Off!.” NHA’s traditional fall picnic is a unique event that many look forward to — and once again, they were not disappointed!
