On November 7th, a group of students and teachers from the Yardley and Doylestown campuses attended a trip to Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Lucking out with beautiful weather, the group enjoyed a tour around SJU’s campus and visited some of its academic and recreational buildings. Favorite stops included the university’s source of school spirit, the much-cherished basketball court, and its top of the line business studies building Mandeville Hall, with its real-time stock exchange news feed. The students also got a glimpse into their future by visiting some of the traditional freshman dormitories and dining halls. The insight of the excellent tour guides, who are current students, helped the group understand what the college experience was all about. Although Saint Joe’s might not be a perfect fit for every student, those on this trip found many reasons to consider SJU and other four-year universities like it!
