The Beauty and the Beast Cast Field Trip

On Friday April 1st, New Hope Academy’s drama staff and students took a trip over to the Quakerbridge Mall for a day full of fun. The cast of Beauty and the Beast participated in their own cooking class at Sur La Table, where they made French pastries in theme of their upcoming production. The chiefs taught everyone how to use the various cooking materials while teaching them how to make Chocolate Eclairs and Madeleines. After eating their delicious creations, they headed over to the food court to grab a bite to eat with fellow cast members. With smiles on their faces as well as full stomachs, staff and students ventured over to their director’s studio for a tour and costume fittings. Trying on their costumes brought excitement for their upcoming show on April 29th and 30th. All in all, everyone had a great day and wishes to see you opening night!
