On March 2nd, 2016, 11 students from New Hope Academy participated in the regional Science Olympiad competition at Newman University. While there the students competed in 7 events: Air Trajectory, Bridge Building, Chemistry Lab, Electric Vehicle, Fossils, Game On, and Write It Do It. On Wednesday, February 17, students from New Hope Academy’s Yardley campus participated in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC), an annual event that measures middle-school and high-school students’ math proficiency and aims to strengthen the mathematical capabilities of the nation’s youth.
